A festival where we celebrate the great human adventure in a discipline connected to life, a discipline that tells us stories about freedom, about overfulfillment, about exchanges and sharing; a discipline that gathers all the dancers in the same humility, the same humanity - mixed cultures and generations, reaching, through their variety, for the same ideal.

Vaison Danses focuses once more on its strong convictions: bringing to light major figures of  dance - Alvin Ailey, Sylvie Guillem - but also younger générations - Abou Lagraa and his Algerian hip-hop dancers - different world cultures - Akram Khan, María Pagés - various fields of the discipline - New Circus(Cirque) of Vietnam - while keeping in mind that music is at the heart of dancing: Roméo et Juliette by Thierry Malandain and that life is at the heart of art.
